County Forum Delegation Discussing County Assembly Capacity Building

This morning, Principal Secretary for Devolution Ms.Teresiah Mbaika, CBS, hosted a delegation from the County Forum led by the Secretary General Hon. Chege Mwaura and Chief Executive Officer, Lonah Losem, who paid her a courtesy call at her Harambee Annex office.
Their discussions were centered on ways to collaborate and partner to build capacity for County Assemblies and support for the upcoming 5th Legislative Summit 2025 to be hosted by @ForumCounty in March.
PS Mbaika directed that a Technical Committee be formed comprising the State Department for Devolution, the County forum and SOCATT Kenya to discuss actionable areas for capacity building in the County Assemblies.
PS Mbaika also said that The State Department will explore ways to support CAF's upcoming 5th Legislative Summit. The Director Capacity Building & Technical Assistance Mr. Kennedy Nyambati, OGW, Director Administration Justine Nelima & Assistant Director Fred Kanini were in attendance.
